Test Drive 360 bolstered with Live content

More news from the world of Test Drive Unlimited this morning, with word that Atari has once again bolstered their Xbox 360 offering, this time through a new car pack and a 'Hardcore Mode'.

The new car pack includes a free to download taster vehicle, with the Test Drive Racers Guild Download Set 2 costing 350 Microsoft points (just over 4 Euro). The pack adds the Ferrari F40, CHRYSLER Crossfire SRT6 Roadster, RUF Rturbo, Audi S6, Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible 1971, Mercedes-Benz CLK GTR and Cadillac CTS-V according to word on the interweb.

The Cadillac CTS-V is available as the previously mentioned taster download, too. Elsewhere, 'Hardcore Mode' can be yours for 160 points, and is designed specifically for Microsoft's Wireless Racing Wheel, although can be played via a normal controller too. Ultra-realistic and highly unforgiving physics are the order of the day here. Regardless of whether you add this premium mode, force feedback support has now also been added for the Racing Wheel, too.

The new Test Drive will hit the PC and PS2 later this week.
