Taito prepare retro classics package

News - About time too...

Taito have been responsible for some of the classiest and most enduring arcade games of all time, so it's rather surprising that, up until now, they have resisted the lure of compiling a greatest hits package. Publisher's Xplosiv have stepped forward to take control of such an endeavour, so in a couple of months gamers will have the chance to snap up Taito Legends, a compilation pack of 29 arcade smashes.

Spanning a time frame from 1979 to 1997, Taito Legends will be more than just a simple bundle of retro hits. Taito Legends will also feature video interviews with the creators of such games as Space Invaders and Bubble Bobble. But the games are really where it's at, so peruse this list and see how many names appeal to your inner retrograde:
