E3 2005: Motorstorm brewing up on the Playstation

If you have a taste for No Limits off-road racing then Evolution Studios' freshly announced Motorstorm should set your senses tingling. A brutal and all-encompassing racing game, Motorstorm has no rules or restrictions so players are free to do whatever they can to cross the finish line in first place. And race just about everything that doesn't fall to pieces when taken off the tarmac. ATVs, rally cars, monster trucks, sand rails and dirt bikes will all be there for racers to clamber into and race to the limits of their endurance.

"MotorStorm will be an intense celebration of racing as subculture, an ultra-gritty racing spectacular that will create a new space in the next generation of cinematic lifestyle entertainment."

The trailer video at the press conference hints at a high-octane game embellished with mental physics and some awe-inspiring particle effects and topped off with an impressive turn of speed.
