Sega hint at new PSP offerings

News - Four of them, to be precise

Sega today revealed their latest plottings concerning the Sony PSP handheld. In addition to the previously revealed Project S and Puyo Puyo Fever, four new titles were confirmed as en route, though no specific names were mooted. Sega's official PSP site informs us that there will be a new type of communication game, a multiplayer sports game, a graphic adventure game, and a digital pet game.

Given Sega's previous experience in three of the four genres stated (who on earth knows what the 'communication game' will entail), it is unclear whether the titles in question will be brand new or based on established franchises - nor are release dates or any other details forthcoming. Indeed, Sega may themselves be waiting for further news on the PSP from Sony, who have been conspicuously quiet regarding the PSP of late.

What we really want to know is: when is it out, how much will it cost, and how long will the battery last? Does anyone have any ideas?
