GTA goes GBA with new plot
News - Sure to boost the GBA this Yuletide
Remember DMA Design's seminal (if controversial) original Grand Theft Auto, first released in 1997? Well we already knew that a version of this classic was being developed by Rockstar for the GBA, but what we didn't know was that it isn't a port at all, rather a new game entirely.
Plenty of the much vaunted 'sandbox' gameplay will star, and industry experts are already predicting a rush on the GBA coinciding with GTA's pre-Christmas release. Whilst an isometric, top-down view will once again be used as in the original, a brand new story will hold the game together - making the new title highly desirable to the long-running series many fans.
More news on this title is expected soon, with a release this year on the cards.
