Mortal Kombat to resume on Xbox 2 & PS3
News - Legendary beat 'um up set for return
While at a technology conference in California the CEO of Midway games let it be know that the next instalment in the world famous fighting series will be coming to the Xbox 2, PS3 and a third, as yet unnamed wireless platform. The announcement of the development of Mortal Kombat 7 for the next generation of consoles is unusual, with very few publishers confirming what games they are developing for these machines, especially as the sixth in the series, Deception, has yet to be released for the current generation of consoles.
CEO David Zucker said: "We're making Mortal Kombat 7. We'll have a PS3 SKU and an Xbox 2 SKU and we'll have a wireless SKU."
