Over 600 staff working on Resident Evil 6
News - RE6 hailed as Capcom's biggest project yet
Capcom has revealed that the team working on Resident Evil 6 is massive totalling somewhere in the region of 600 staff in all.
The main core team in Japan is around 150 strong but the game's executive producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi revealed that work on the game is being done in studios all round the world which adds another 450 staff to the RE6 workforce.
By way of confirmation that RE6 is the largest project Capcom has ever worked on Kobayashi-san said: "Between the 150 staff members in Japan and everyone around the world we have more than 600 people involved. A lot of work has gone into this game."
RE6 producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi added: "This game not only has a larger world and a deeper experience than you have ever played before, but we're excited to say it's a blend of action and survival horror something we like to call dramatic horror."
Resident Evil 6 is due to be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC on November the 20th.
