Call of Duty Elite subs extended due to continuing problems
News - Elite premium gamers get an extra 30 days as an apology
Activision has announced that they will be extending the subscriptions of Call of Duty Elite premium users due to the extended problems that they have been experiencing.
Elite premium users have received an extra 30 days on their subs after admitting that "greater-than-expected demand is crushing servers."
Many Modern Warfare 3 gamers have been experiencing connection problems with the Elite service although it has not affected the online experience of the game itself.
Activision explained: "Our top priority and sole focus is delivering the best possible service experience to our gamers and we're sorry we're off to a rocky start with Elite. We are committed to Call Of Duty: Elite for the long haul and are working around the clock to resolve these issues. Thank you for your patience and understanding."
