Final Fantasy XIV problems greatly damaged the Final Fantasy brand
News - Yoichi Wada admits Final Fantasy has lost some of its lustre
Square Enix president Yoichi Wada has freely admitted that the Final Fantasy brand doesn't carry the same weight as it once did.
Speaking at a press conference, Wada admitted that the problems they have been dealing with in relation to Final Fantasy XIV have greatly damaged the brand's prestige.
Wada continued adding: "We'll continue with our reform work, which basically amounts to fully redoing the game, and hope to revive the FFXIV that should have been released."
Square Enix were also recently met with a bit of criticism after announcing that Dragon Quest X would be released as an MMO for the Wii and Wii U.
Thanks Andriasang.
