News - PSP gets a new model at a cut price too
Sony has taken the opportunity to announce price cuts for both the PSP and the PS3 at their press conference at this year's Gamescom.
We may not be seeing the PS Vita before the end of 2011 but Sony has decided to cut the price of the PS3 160GB model for 199 GBP. The good news is that this will take effect immediately.
They are also bringing out a new model of the PSP to be priced at 99 GBP with the PSP Essentials range of titles to drop in price to 9.99 GBP.
Sony revealed that the install based for the PlayStation 3 in Europe now stands at around 22 million.
