More service shutdowns planned for EA online services
News - EA begins to shut down the last of the non-Online Pass multiplayer services
It's that time of year again when EA evaluate their online services and shutdown their older and quieter servers.
This year will see the end of some of the last games not to use the online pass service especially in the EA Sports portfolio.
The biggest casualties this year are Army of Two, Skate and Tiger Woods 10 on PS3 and 360, Battlefield 2 on Xbox 360 all of which will go offline on August the 11th.
They will be followed by Madden 10 and NHL 10 which will be shut down on October the 1st.
