News - Special offer is go, too
Little Boots was on hand at a Sony party in London's West End last night to usher in the launch of the Video Delivery Service in Europe.
The PSN service launches today, officially, and it will deliver SD and HD movies to the PS3 and PSP in France, Germany, Spain and the UK. Over 2,000 flicks will be offered for starters.
The service will allow you to rent from 1.99 Euro a film, or buy from 7.99 Euro a film, with various flavours of each offered.
Angels and Demons, Bruno, The Dark Knight, Harry Potter, Star Trek, Transformers 2, Terminator Salvation and X-Men: Wolverine count among the launch titles on offer.
Sony are also offering a special launch deal, allowing players to download Angels and Demons between November 19th 2009 and November 30th to get a PSN voucher code for The Da Vinci Code (usually worth 6.99 GBP) at no additional charge. Nice.
