Square Enix plot new title with global appeal
News - Montreal title mooted by Wada
Square Enix Europe's Montreal studio, already home to new versions of the Thief and Deus Ex series, are also hard at work on Square's first truly 'global' game - a secret new project.
Speaking at the Montreal Games Summit, Square Enix chief Yoichi Wada spoke of the new title, but didn't go so far as to confirm any specific details - like a title.
"[It] would be the first collaboration between Square Enix and Montreal. We would like to be able to create an new title that is made by the group as one," Wada offered.
It is unclear if this project is based on a new IP, or is something we might have heard of before. Thanks Develop.
