New genres coming from Ubisoft

News - Guillemot moots new ideas

Speaking online with Kotaku this week, Ubisoft boss man Yves Guillemot has as that his publisher are experimenting with new genres of game.

According to the CEO, these new areas (for the firm) include fighters, music, RPGs and sports - although he was at pains to avoid any detail.

That said, the report does moot a Might & Magic themed MMO called Heroes Kingdoms for early 2010.

TrackMania 2, meanwhile, will also hit town next year, and there are Project Natal and Sony motion controller games also en route.
