PS3 video launch titles confirmed
News - Biggest video offering ever, claim Sony
The PS3's video service is coming to town, with launches across swathes of Europe planned for this very month.
20th Century Fox, Disney-ABC-ESPN, Television1, Lionsgate2, Metro Goldwyn Mayer (MGM), Paramount Pictures, Sony Pictures, Starz Media2, Universal and Warner Bros are all backing the launch - due to take place in the UK, France, Germany and Spain in late November.
So far, Bruno, Angels and Demons, Casino Royale, Crank 2, Hannah Montana, Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs, The Hills Have Eyes and Transformers 2 are all lined up for this launch.
Sony believe their on-demand video offering will be the world's biggest at launch, with over 2,300 films and 14,000 TV shows mooted. A claim Microsoft might take task with.
Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have yet to offer pricing, but we'll confirm further specifics as soon as we can.
