GT4 slips to Summer

Sony Computer Entertainment's long-awaited Gran Turismo 4 has apparently slipped to the summer, if reports emerging at the end of last week are to be believed. The first-quarter was originally planned by Sony Entertainment Europe, however a spokesman has now been quoted as saying June or July is more probable.

The Polyphony developed racer is the first tile in the venerable Gran Turismo series to feature online play, a fact that was causing the developers a myriad of problems at last May's E3 - and may be an ongoing issue in Europe given the multitude of standards that are present.
