News - Rumour online hints at Nvidia role

Rumour on the grapevine today speculates that Nintendo could partner with Nvidia for a next-generation DS handheld, to be released in late 2010.

Online reports indicate that the company is planning on using Nvidia's new Tegra technology to help power the device's visuals.

This idle chit-chat ponders over whether Nintendo will opt to use the existing 65nm microchip technology from Nvidia, or the upcoming 40nm hardware.

Of course, this is all gossip at present, but we'll keep our eyes peeled for more news on this.
