Fils-Aime reveals Wal-Mart importance
News - Over 2.2 million DSi's now sold
Speaking in a new interview this week, Nintendo of America boss Reggie Fils-Aime has said that sales of the DSi handheld have now passed 2.2 million stateside.
Fils-Aime also tells us that Wal-Mart sell the most Nintendo products in North America, the giant chain regarded as the Big N's most significant retail partner.
"On a retail basis, certainly from my region which is Canada, the US, and Latin America, Walmart is my biggest customer," he let slip.
Wal-Mart's domination of US game sales has previously been a cause of great concern - many 'more caring' indie stores being simply unable to compete with the retailer's clout.
