Doom: Resurrection hits the iPhone's App Store today, but this is just the beginning of what id Software have planned for Apple's handset.
Next up, according to boss John Carmack, will be the first three Quake games. Which kind of makes sense now Doom has been unleashed.
Speaking to MTV, the big cheese said that the first two games should be no problem - and even Quake 3 is a strong possibility.
"There's no doubt that we'll go through Quake and Quake 2," the technology wizard offers.
"I can probably manage to do Quake 3 on the conventional iPhone platform, if Apple winds up addressing just a few things in their system software. When you start looking at the 3GS, [Quake 3] would not be a problem at all."
