Mountain Dew's marketing department have clearly been working over time, the US soft drink label announcing a summer promotion that will see an official World of Warcraft drink offered.
The special Mountain Dew offerings will be blue and orange, and decked out in the game's branding, Pepsico describing the drink as 'Game Fuel'. The fizzy-pop will be available only in the US over the summer months.
A 14 day free trial at Warcraft.com/dew will be offered by Blizzard in celebration of this double-act, and those testing out the game here will also be given a free in game Battle Bot pet.
Back at Pepsico, and this promotion will be backed by a huge 'Game Fuel' contest, dishing out laptops, add-ons and other goodies via the official website. More soon.
