A group of Left 4 Dead players have been left angry by news that Left 4 Dead 2 will be heading to the Xbox 360 later this year. 'L4D2 Boycott' believe Valve have let down purchasers of the original game through their announcement of a sequel.
Over 11,000 players have presently joined the group, which says that Valve have yet to deliver on the promise of 'significant' content for the original release.
They believe the developer should have more faith in the original release, and are worried that such a quick-fire sequel will have a damagingly divisive effect on the community around both games.
The group also claim that Left 4 Dead 2 doesn't look very good and isn't dark enough, the boycott concluding: "The community has lost faith in Valve's former reputation for commitment to their games post-release."
