Nintendo DSi leads in Japan
News - PSP lands in second place
The Nintendo DSi is back on top in Japan, the revised handheld beating off competition from Sony's PSP in the latest hardware stakes.
For the week ending May 10th, the DSi leads with sales of over 55.000, followed by the PSP with 43,000 units shifted.
The Wii is well off the pace with 24,000, although it does come in ahead of the PS3 which managed over 18,000 units during the week in question.
After Sony's next-gen box there is the DS Lite with less than 8,000, chased by the PS2 will just over 5,000; a total that actually ended up a few dozen more than the Xbox 360 managed. Ouch.
