Spielberg: We shouldn't have sold EA Medal of Honor
News - Director undecided over Dreamworks Interactive sales
Speaking once again to Reuters, movie man Steven Spielberg has said that he shouldn't have sold Dreamworks Interactive to EA, allowing them to pick up the hit Medal of Honor franchise in the process.
"The smartest and dumbest thing I ever did was to sell my company to EA," the veteran entertainment boss conceded.
"Medal of Honor was almost done and we made the decision to sell Dreamworks Interactive to Electronic Arts and had we not sold, we would have been able to stay in business just based on the success of Medal of Honor."
He adds, however, that in the end EA had the clout to deliver the game to international markets, and make a big hit of the series.
