Final Fantasy VII hits PSN in Japan
News - Classic RPG earns PlayStation re-release
Square Enix have launched a rejuvenated version of Final Fantasy VII for the PlayStation Network in Japan. The seminal RPG is now playable on the PS3 and PSP as a result.
Of course, this classic adventure is only available on the Japanese PlayStation Store; so no joy for Western users just yet. The game costs 1,500 Yen - or about 15 USD if you prefer.
Apparently, this is the 'International' version of the RPG and incorporates on-screen arrows to aid the player, a new management system, and a number of cut-sequences that further flesh out Cloud's back story.
We'll keep our eyes peeled for a Western debut.
