Fifth Blizzard project spied
News - Fan site moots another new title
Not content with new Diablo and StarCraft projects, in addition to ongoing development of World of Warcraft, and a secret MMO, Blizzard are apparently working on a "fifth" new game project, according to this fan site.
Word on the unannounced title comes via a job listing spied online, the fan site making a point of assuring that "this brand-new game is not a World of Warcraft expansion, and it is not related to the Next-Gen MMO."
How exciting. The ad analysis goes on to reveal that the World of Warcraft engine is being used, but only for testing, while a new developer will be employed to work on new engine technology for the title.
It is unclear if the title in question could be related to one of Blizzard's existing IPs, or whether something entirely new is in the offing. We'll keep our noses to the ground.
