More Wii for Acti - Kotick
News - CEO promises more for Nintendo gamers
Activision Blizzard big wig Bobby Kotick has been busy today, laying out the gaming year ahead for Reuters in a candid new interview.
The executive admits in the new chat that his publisher have viewed the Wii as an "extension" of the PlayStation and the Xbox up to this point, but that this attitude is likely to change in 2009 - with far greater resources being lavished upon Nintendo's system.
"In the past we approached the Wii as an extension of what we were doing on PlayStation and the Xbox and I think we can do a better job of creating original content for the Wii, and I think you'll see more of that this year," Kotick enthused.
We've no idea exactly what Kotick and co have up their sleeve for the Wii, although tittle-tattle does suggest that Bizarre's new racer could be set for a debut on the white lounge-box. More soon, then.
