News - Director believes Drake can hold his own
Speaking with UK site CVG, Uncharted game director Bruce Straley has stated that he believes Uncharted is at least as big as Tomb Raider now - if not bigger.
Talking about the upcoming Uncharted: Among Thieves, a PS3 exclusive, he said that Nathan Drake is rapidly approaching the same notoriety as Lara Croft.
"Why, do you think he’s not already there, if not beyond that point already, in terms of popularity?" the exec quipped, when asked whether his game can measure up to Eidos' opus.
"I feel that Nathan Drake can stand on his own in any line up of the video game pantheon."
