Indiana Jones still in the works at LucasArts
News - New game plans not shelved
Reports surrounding the death of a new Indiana Jones game have been greatly exaggerated, says LucasArts, despite IGN reporting rumour this week that the new Indy game may have been canned.
We've known that a new game based on the heroic Archeologist is in development for a couple of years now, but with developer LucasArts remaining quiet on the issue, there had been growing chatter that the title may have been sidelined.
This isn't the case, we're happy to report, Joystiq offered the following by the game maker: "LucasArts remains absolutely committed to the Indiana Jones franchise,” said LucasArts.
"While we are aware that fans have been eagerly awaiting additional information on the upcoming game, they can rest assured that details are forthcoming."
