Remedy offer Alan Wake assurance

A new 50 minute podcast has reportedly been published by Finnish site Pelaaja, the broadcast assuring us that Alan Wake is still in development, writer Sami Järvi revealing that a new trailer of the open world action game is on the way on October 15th.
The Remedy game maker also revealed that development on Alan Wake is taking a lot longer than expected, as open world game development is very time consuming, especially with a small development team.
The new trailer meanwhile, is being created because Remedy want to show off the progress of they've been making, just as a film of their debut title Max Payne hits cinemas.
The podcast also reportedly reveals that Remedy own the Alan Wake IP, hence their ability to take their time on the project - although the writer does admit things are taking rather longer than they planned.
