The PlayStation 3 could be getting a version of Valve's excellent looking Left 4 Dead, marketing boss Doug Lombardi admitting that the ever-increasing likelihood that the game will be a success could see it ported to Sony's format.

It won't be happening any time soon, though, Lombardi describing the chance of a new rendition as "50-50" at present.

"There’s zero chance of it happening this year," he revealed.

"It’s something that’s being talked about right now as the game is gaining popularity and looking like it’s going to be a hit."
