PS3 Wireless Keypad announced
News - With a touchpad too
Sony have announced they are to release a wireless keypad for the PlayStation 3 platform. The accessory can also function as a touch pad.
The keyboard will allow quicker text entry in titles such as Home, which was previously a cumbersome affair with on-screen keyboards.
The touch pad can be used for web surfing by moving your finger over it after pressing the "Touch Pad" button to activate it.
The attachment will clip to the top of your existing SixAxis, and features a couple of shortcut keys for easier comms access. The "Communications" and "Message Box" buttons will allow users to jump to features of the XrossMediaBar quickly.
We're told that Bluetooth powers this sucker, and it'll be out in North America in November. Other regions will follow before Christmas.
