Luc Bernard quitting games development
News - Eternity's Child dev bidding farewell?
Following poor reviews of WiiWare title Eternity's Child stateside, British-based games developer Luc Bernard has vowed never to make another videogame.
Eternity's Child, also released for the PC via Steam, hasn't been going down well with the critics, Bernard found vowing to quit in the comments sections of negative reviews.
He also tells his blog: "Eternity's Child was fun to work on, okay, but at the same time horrible, since well we had no money to do it. There is no way on earth that I am working on another game in those conditions."
He goes on: "Plus with the recent controversy... Like I said, an industry friend said that I have f***ed up my career.
"In a couple weeks I really plan to leave this industry with a big boom that no one is expecting, and it will even make haters shut up."
Eternity's Child is a hand-drawn fairy-tale based game, and while Bernard will support it with further episodes, he won't make new titles until someone will back his 'vision'.
