Bizarre hope Sega will make The Club sequels

News - Community boss hopes for ongoing series

Speaking to play.tm today, Bizarre Creations community chief Ben Ward has revealed that the British developer are hoping The Club will prove successful enough to persuade publisher Sega to undertake a sequel.

Ward was quick to point out that while they hope a sequel will be forthcoming, it won't be Bizarre developing it, as the firm has now been purchased by Activision - the rights to The Club remaining in Sega's hands.

He explained: "Sega own the rights to The Club, and I think everybody at Bizarre is secretly hoping that they'll run with the game and make the sequel we think it deserves.

"I guess we'll all have to wait and see!"

He added that Bizarre are already "hard at work on the next games for [Activision]," with a racer and shooter rumoured to be planned.
