Sony update PS3 and PSP
News - Video playback and net radio support offered
Sony have released new firmware updates for both the PSP and PS3 this week. Firstly, the PS3's move to 2.10 sees the recently promised introduction of DivX video playback support, WMV support and a new video section on the CrossMediaBar. Blu-ray 1.1 support is also added.
Sony also offer PS3ers a new voice altering tool, for changing your dulcet tones in voice and video chat. Should that kind of thing appeal.
Over on the PSP, meanwhile, and we see that Internet Radio support has been added by the new 3.80 update, and you can update both consoles via the net, or by downloading and transferring the relevant patches.
