News - BlackSite and Stranglehold out in September

US publisher Midway today offer a couple of new dates for PAL region gamers, announcing that Stranglehold will be out on September 7th, while BlackSite will debut on September 14th - making the ninth month a key one for the firm.

Both titles are presently being shown-off at E3 in Santa Monica, with a number of new trailers and image galleries being presented, marking both games out as ones to watch. We're also told that August will see a demo of Stranglehold available on the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3.

Stranglehold is a collaboration between Midway and film director John Woo, the title serving as an interactive sequel to celebrated Hong Kong flick Hard Boiled. Chow Yun Fat will reprise the role of Tequila and we're promised trademark Woo action.

BlackSite, meanwhile, blends real world combat with an alien invasion scenario - in what the developers have previously described as a political commentary. More on these games soon.
