Gas Powered Games have been working away at their debut title, Dungeon Siege, for quite some time now. The developers, lead by Chris Taylor (of the Total Annihilation fame), aim to create a beautiful and immersive RPG, which is fun and accessible in both single and multiplayer modes. I recently had the pleasure of receiving some early code for the game, which is due out within the next few months, we’re guessing May, and have been playing through the game’s opening. The first thing of note is just how polished and rich the environments are; the scenery proving quite stunning, at times. The control system is also very intuitive the camera angles creating a cinematic feel, whilst always being easy to use. All in all, it’s a very easy to get into game, so far, and I’ll be bringing you a full preview on it soon. In the meantime, content yourself with some new images from the early code.
